Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Foreman Engineering, to be based at Booysendal near Lydenburg, Mpumalanga. The successful candidate will report to the General Engineering Supervisor. The company will provide remuneration and benefits relevant and appropriate to the position. Preference will be given to Historically Disadvantaged South Africans (HDSA) candidates. Applications only open to South African Citizens / Permanent Residents.

Minimum Requirements...

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

  • Grade 12/N3 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
  • Recognised Trade Certificate / Artisan Qualification relating to a specific field
  • Engineering Foreman Certificate of Competence
  • Completion of multi-skilled courses in a mining environment
  • Computer  literate
  • Good communication skills in English

        Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

  • 5 Years post trade qualified experience in the trackless mining environment
  • 2 Years post trade supervision experience
  • Extensive knowledge of mining operations
  • Knowledge and experience in board and pillar trackless mining environment on all engineering disciplines
