Little did he know that his dreams would lead him to something a little different, but equally fulfilling.
Born in Tshifulani Mathule Limpopo in a family of six, Phathutsedzo furthered his studies at Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) and obtained a National Diploma in Legal Assistance. During his studies, he founded his own company known as Nenungwi Holdings (PTY) Limited which specialised in event equipment hiring and catering services.
Four years after its establishment, Nenungwi Holdings is still going strong and now has relocated to Tshwane Municipality to exploit more business opportunities. The National Youth Development Agency aided Nenungwi Holdings with a business voucher for design and branding and also with a grant to the value of R13 700 to purchase more catering equipment. Furthermore, the NYDA funded for his studies at TUT.
“My vision is to create job opportunities for unemployed youth. To quote Nelson Mandela, "It always seems impossible until it's done". I would like to encourage the South African youth to visit NYDA and get help for their business and studies. NYDA has transformed my life. It can also transform yours” says Phathutshedzo.
