Having extended the deadline for applications to the NSC 2nd Chance Programme, the National Youth Development Agency is making a final call to young people who wish to improve their matric results or repeat failed subjects and qualify to rewrite the exams in November 2015, to use these last few days to send in their applications.

Youth empowered through construction

National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) YouthBuild volunteer, Anele Nxele yesterday, began a twelve-month-long journey during which time she will be building and renovating a primary school in Howick KwaZulu Natal.

“I have by no means arrived at my destination and I do have challenges but my business is growing, progress is achieved every day and this I owe to the NYDA for believing in my vision when all I had was a broken wash plant machine,” said thirty-five-year old Siyabonga Shange, owner of Sbumeister Trading cc, an Industrial Plastic Recycler (IPR) based in Pinetown, Durban.

NYDA Empowers Youth of Morokweng

The National Youth Development Agency (NYDA) partnered with the Kagisano Molopo Local Municipality to host a Socio-Economic Youth Dialogue and Economic Development Awareness Programme at the Morokweng Community Hall in the North West Province.

The Gauteng Department of Education has advised all parents that the online admissions process for Grade 1 and 8 learners will commence at 8am on Tuesday.

The Gauteng Education Department has suspended the registration period (pre-load period), which started on 11 April 2016 and was expected to end on 18 April 2016.
